You ought to know the answer to that. At least when it comes to fishing for bass. Sure a cold front may create a pretty tough bite, but you can still get into them. Usually you just need to change your tactics a little bit. Sometimes the drop-shotted Gulp minnow isn't always the best choice...har! [Wink]

For me, the volume of fish caught usually dropped significantly, but I've caught all of my biggest fish midday after cold front passage when it seemed like a waste of time until the fish hit!

i think pre and post frontal conditions vary from day to day and species to species. I think the best solution is what bassrods is doing. going out and finding out!

[cool][#0000ff]Yeah. The best time to go fishing is whenever you can. And, fishing is always good...even if the catchin' ain't.[/#0000ff]

I tried three or four lures but the drop shot and gulp minnow was working the best and was the only thing I got any thing on or had a bite on...

I caught 15 to 25 fish all but one was bows with the one bass all fish was from 12" to 16" I would say didn't put a tape on any just a look...

And all came from 5' to 25' deep..
