Lake Mead Sunday
#1
05/03/08- Hit the water early (5:00am). Enjoyed calm conditions as we raced to the Hole 33 area. Anchored in 80 feet of water, chummed a ton, broke out the light tackle, and began to soak frozen shad. Started catching small stripers at about 25 feet. Continued to chum and catch small stripers until the wind kicked up at about 11:00am. Wet and wild ride back to the ramp. Ended up with over 60 small stripers. If you like catching a lot of little fish, now is the time to get out on the lake. Time for fish tacos!

Very nice... I'm going out on Monday as long as the wind doesn't pick up too much. Gonna try to do some serious bass fishing as soon as the chop from the FLW tournament dies down... Something like 200 boats out there this week for that tourney!
