Hey Guys,

I need a place between Price and Green River to pull off of the road and camp Saturday night. I am unfamiliar with the area, any recommendations where to stop for the night?

Why? They are only an hour apart in some of the most forsaken & barren land in Utah. Most of the side roads will take you to public land where you can crash for the night. Come late and leave early.

There is no need to worry. That stretch of highway has numerous convinient pull-offs to stop. I have done it many times before on Powell trips.

If it gets dark before you find a spot, drive about 55 mph hour and you will still spot a good site. There are plenty to choose from. Just decide when you want to stop and you should find a spot withing 6-10 miles.
