[font "Garamond"][#008000][size 4]Dropped in at the new Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamonga on my return trip from Bishop. Wow that place makes Costco look like a general store. If they don't carry it, you don't need it. They did have a TFO 6' 2wt fly rod on sale for $99.00. Was tempted but I would really would like to have a 6½ or 7' rod. So they didn't get into my wallet this time.[Wink][/size][/#008000][/font]

heheheh I was just up there last Sunday.. took my grandson with me.. he was asking me today when we were going back up there so he can play in the arcade again.. and you are right. that store is huge... it has everything every good outdoorsman would need..

I still have to get to that store. I guess as soon as I can settle back down and call myself a Cali resident again.

I was headed up to Bishop this weekend but found out that I could also have wind and T storms here at home.[crazy]

I learned to tie flies at the Basspro in Dallas. They give free lessons.

Not a native Texan. I lived in various parts of Texas for 23 years. But have also spent significant portions of this life of mine in New Hampshire, Arizona and Colorado.
