STAWBERRY 5/20
#1
Took the toon and hit the berry yesterday. I left late and didn't get on the water till around 11:00. It was slow until a little wind started to blow. Then the fish started cruising shallow and it really picked up. The wind blew really hard and I had to move and find some sheltered water. I was throwing big black buggers against the bank and stripping out, all the fish I caught were between 2 to 9 feet deep. I ended up landing 28 fish with 7 cutts over the slot the largest going 24. The rainbows were in too and I landed 8 of them with the biggest going a little over 20". A great day on the water.

Good report. Do you know if Renegade/Indian Creek is accessible yet? It's usually pretty good over there in the spring stripping buggers near the shore too.

Yes you can get to Renegade, Indian Creek and Haws Point. I fished Haws and then moved to the pump house. Pump house was better but I caught 7 of the 8 rainbows at Haws.
