Braved Willard in the Jon Boat today. Launched the south marina. Boated a cat and a wiper while trolling with crankbaits. Quite a few more bites surprisingly. Most of the time I spent trying to keep warm, dry, and from capsizing. The waves finally chased me off earlier than I had planned. In anything but my 12 ft Jon Boat I could have stayed longer. It is a real wave-slapper. When I left I was completely soaked to the skin. Saw a handful of boats. Looked like one of the boats was catching a few... they even had a canopy and were probably enjoying hot cocoa. If it was you, PM me and let me know how you did. The boats initials were T.J. I think.

We paid at the south marina. No one was in the booth but I'm glad we did because as we were cruising out we saw the ranger drive up and check our vehicles.

Technically I didn't land it. It jumped and got off about ten yards out. So in other words it doesn't count against me.
