Yep, it is hard to find parts and dealer for Nissan Marine, especially in Utah. I have the same motor you do. The only certifiend place is Marine Products Pro Shop, around 1700 S and 900 W in Salt Lake City.

I will tell you though that I do not like that place one bit. They are just about the rudest and most arrogant bunch of outboard mechanics I have ever met. You can't get a word out of their mouths without paying, and they will keep your outboard for at least a month and a half-while pretending that their service is on a firts com first serve basis-yeah right [mad]. All the monster boats get fixed first, than the fishermen boats acually get worked on.

The worst thing is that Nissan Marine has not issued a repair manual yet, so you practically can't fix a single dang thing yourself. I had a heck of a time changing my impellar on the ouboard. The Marine Products guys did not even tell me if it was in good condition after I showed it to them. I give them a grade of 0 for service, they dont even deserve a letter grade. I really hope my explanation shows the frustration and dissastiscation I have towards that service place.

The problem is that Nissan Marine will not sell parts directly to people, it has to be through a dealer only. Had I know this, I would never have baught a Nissan. The only choice I have is going to Marine Products and living with the annoyance. Don't even bother complaining to Nissan directly, it comes in one year and goes out the other. Been there, done that.
