anyone fishing ECHO derby saturday???

just wondering if any body is going to fish the derby on saturday, fishing has been slower this year but i'm still headed out.

I'll be there! This will be my first time going to this tournament. My cousin did it last year, he had a good time. Maybe we'll see ya up there.

Yeah, I will be there!!! This will be my second straight year. Didnt know what to expect last year, but had a great time, heck even one a prize on the drawing!!! Only thing I have is........it costs' $10 to get into the derby, but are they going to charge you the amazing $15 rate to launch your boat still??? If so no big deal, just the one and only time I will be fishing Echo this year!!!

You can start fishin at 0630 and measure your first fish at 0730.You guys probably should just stay home....I'm collecting the 500$ this year ! Yeah right......thats what I said last year too. It should be fun no matter how the catching ends up.We're launching tomorrow and spending the night up there so we don't have to part of the goat rope that happens on the ramp up there every year. I'll be in a tan and brown Tri-hull with my BFT stickers on the sideglass of the windshield.If we get close enough say hey.Good luck to everyone.

I will be up there tomorrow too in a hard top trophy, wave if you see us, i'll do the same.
yes it is a slimer fest, but i think they pay out on biggest catfish too. some pretty good browns show up every year.
