H3 still "skunked"
#1
Well, I've been out 2 more times on my H3 and am still adamant about how much I like the "tube". Only problem I have had to date is a lack of fish and my "tube" is still unchristened in that regard. BUMMER!! I have had a couple of hookups that went sour and I know it's just a matter of time until I land my first LMB in/on my H3.

I did take a friendly "ribbing" from some other tubers last Wednesday when they kept calling my H3 a "Cadillac". They actually had never seen an H3 and even though they kidded me about it being a luxury "Cadillac", they ALL said they liked it and were impressed by it's size and how high I was sitting out of the water. Two of the guys were in U-Boats and the other was in a Fish Cat. One of the guys in one of the U-Boats caught a nice 5lb 3 oz LMB not more than 15 feet from me and in the same area I had been fishing all morning. He was just using a different plastic and fishing very close to the shoreline.

Looking forward to getting out there and finally landing my own bass this week.

One thing I've learned about fishing.
Lucky times come and go, but over the long haul relentlessness pays off.
Get that H3 back on the water next chance you get and soon enough you will be giving the ribbing instead of getting it! [Smile]

[cool][#0000ff]They will be even more jealous when you finally know your craft well enough to concentrate totally on the fishing and not on handling your ride.[/#0000ff]
