Anybody heard if crawdads are active yet?
I was thinking Grantsville and Settlement may be ready.
What about E canyon?
Would be nice to have some to boil for fathers day.

I have two traps sitting in the water here at bear lake. Checked them this morning and nothing but I changed locations and my hopes are high for a few tommorow.

Srawbery is the place to o, no doubt. With gas prices at $4 I probably will only et to the berry once this year.
I am looking closer. I hae heard Grantsville and Settlement Canyon have them. That's about 1/2 the distance from SL and all flat. I have never been to either, I know where Settlement is, but I would have to hunt for Grantsville.
I know East canyon has them, and nice ones too. i've reeled them chowing away on my bait before.
If they are on at the Berry i would think that east creek is ready. So it looks like off to East Canyon with chicken backs, net and bucket to see what's up.
