BaySport on the Bay 08
#1
Spent last week enjoying the cool temps of San Francisco Bay fishing for halibut, stripers, and sharks. What a great time we had.

Drifting the Berkley Flats with live anchovys. Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Bent rods on the bay! Another halibut makes it into the box!

A limit of halibut after a morning of fishing. Each angler is allowed three each, over 22 inches, per day. This is by far my favorite fish! We also caught several saltwater stripers between 8-15 lbs, several soup fin sharks, one six feet long, and a few batrays. The sharks and rays were released. What a great trip. It is going to be tough returning to Lake Mead and its hot temps and small stripers.[Wink]

Shoo......a frozen boot to the butt would beat detaching your clavicle on the harddeck. I'm still recovering! [crazy] That was a wild trip. Can't wait to do it again! Going to La Paz in August to fish the Sea of Cortez. Hope I don't break a leg or something. [Wink] Good to hear from you!
