I went to Ririe on Saturday. I say one of my friends out there pulling his boat out out. he got into the Kokes and some cutts. We were bass fishing, and did ok, and also picked up some perch. the only down side was the wind, but that's SE Idaho for you.

Thanks for the report. My dad and I made it up there the first weekend after ice off and did really good, but somebody told me that the water turned to choclate and the fishing turned off, I might have to head up there this weekend. We do have a little fishing boat but I don't have any downriggers yet. How deep are most of the fish? All I have is some jet divers I can get down about 50 feet max. And Orange seemed to be the color to use opening weekend. What seems to be the trick lately? Thanks for the info my dad will be glad to hear fishing is still good up there.

Fish are around the top at 6:00 am. By 7:30 they start heading down and seem to be around 35-40 feet as of this last weekend. 2" Gold/Brown Rapala or F7 BB Brown Trout does well behind pop gear, did not do so good with the Orange.
