Strawberry June 12-14
#1
Sorry this is a little late. Had some fair success at the Berry. Thursday cool and windy...the fishing improved as the temps warmed up. Sat. was the best day. Caught 22 fish from 7:00 am until about 11:00 on Sat. All fish caught looked like clones.... 20 inch cutts. Drift troll all three days with worms. Fished the west side of chicken creek and a little down around Haws point. The water clarity was low. The success rate should pick up as the water clears and the temp rise. The DWR was at the Strawberry launch every day doing a check for Aquatic hitchhikers.

Thanks for posting your report Bob, sounds like the fishing was good. Did you get a reading on the water temp? WH2

[cool][#0000ff]Don't forget, a lot of the larger cutts are busy with the spawning thing now. [/#0000ff]
