I will be going to the Outer Banks in early August and was wondering if anyone out there knows of any freshwater lakes or ponds in the Nags Head area. I am interested in trying for largemouth bass when we are not fishing for the stripers. I would be willing to travel 15-20 miles to fish in the early AM prior to the kids waking up. I have checked all over on line but cannot seem to come up with anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you ever finda any fresh water fishing spots while you were there? I will be there in a few weeks and any info would be appreciated.
