1ST TRIP TO FLAMMING GORGE
#1
Was planning on making a trip to the gorge around July 10th or so. Was looking fo some help in the following areas:

1. Place to stay. Don't mind the bare necessities. Some place close to launch a boat. A kitchen is nice.

2. Recomondations on fishing would help too! [Wink] I will be taking my 11yr old son with me and would like him to hook into some fish.

Thanks in advance for any help, I appreciate any info. Thanks.

We like Vacation Inn. They have a kitchen, but no pots, pans, etc. Request rm 25, you can back boat next to room. Travis

[cool][#0000ff]It can be a bit overwhelming to a new member. But, you are not on a time schedule and there will not be a test at the end of the class. Just keep clicking on buttons and finding your way around. The journey is its own reward.[/#0000ff]

Thanks again for all the info! I think i have locked down a place to stay- now how about the fishing?
I know July will be hot and the trout will be in deep water, so down riggers will probably be useful. Anyone know how the fishing is typically at the gorge in July- just curios.

Thanks
