A buddy and a few fellow BFTers (buddies/co-workers) (Bass-Trackin, Lovetograbbass and Redhook) decided to hit the road early this morning and check out Glendale. I was ready to go by 3:50 this morning but the others had to powder their noses, iron their shirts to look pretty and what not, so we didnt get on the highway until 5:05 and on the water until a little after 7. Anywho, the fishing was excellent I caught 11 LMB, 1 Bluegill and 1 Perch. My buddy in the boat with me caught 8 LMB and 1 really nice 3.1 LB Rainbow. I am not sure what the total's were for the other guys (other two boats) so hopefully they will chime in and let us know. I left at around 1 since there were about 30 ski boats out and about!!! Hope the pictures come out okay.

Looks like you had a good day. I've bass fished Glendale on and off for about 10 years now. It still remains one of my favorite, but I can't say I ever remember catching a fish over 3 pounds in there. Whereas at Winder and Condie, its common to pick a few up a year that go 3+. Anybody else has similar experience.

Yep, I hear ya on that one. I have fished it since I was a young pup, but back then they had some HUGE Bluegill, Crappie and Bass. The last few years I havent pulled anything over 2.5 LB outta there!!! I did catch a 6.2 LB Bass out of Twin Lakes last year though. Havent fished Condie since I was a kid, but that is on my list for this year. Have you heard anything about Lamont or Johnson this year or last?

That's awesome you pulled that hog out of Twin last year. I haven't fished there for a few years. I haven't heard anything from Lamont, but I do know of a few guys that actually pulled some nice bass out of Johnson while they were ice fishing. If I were to dedicate time to a reservoir in that area, it would be Twin or Condie. It's too bad Winder had to bite the bullet last year. That place had some hogs in it.

We live in an apartment right now but as soon as we get a place with some room, we are hoping to add a good dog to the family. I really hope to get one I can teach to help me chase grouse and pheasant. The wife and kids just want a good companion.
