hey bro,

I had some good luck from the shore at whole 33 a week ago. I headed to the far west side and fished off the point that leads into the cut with the floating outhouse. I chummed the area up real good with some corn (I know what your thinking and yes you will draw in alot of carp) but you will also draw in some stripers, bluegill and cats. There were some smallish stripers (12-14 inch) boiling from time to time and the catfish and gills were pretty steady on night crwalers fished just off the bottom (this leads to alot less carp bycatch). Did not fish any chovies as it was too hot to keep them frozen, but i am sure that would be an even better way to go if you dont mind the hassle. Good luck.
