Hi everyone! I have a friend from Utah coming up this Friday, and he wants me to take him fly fishing. I haven't been fishing much this year because of work. I went to the south fork of the snake about two weeks ago, and it was pretty high and fast. We will be using waders, so I was curious to know if anyone has gotten into any good fish using waders lately. I am really open to any recommendations, be it either the south or north fork of the snake, or anywhere else pretty close to the Idaho Falls, Rexburg area. Thanks.

The South Fork has dropped significantly in the last couple of weeks. I do not have any specific information. Hopefully someone will chime in to help. You might call Jimmy at Jimmy's fly shop in Idaho Falls. He is usually very helpful.

At 13,000 the SF is still booming especially when it comes to wading. How far are you willing to drive ?

We are open to driving quite a bit, especially for some fun fishing. We are planning to leave early Friday, but need to be back in Idaho Falls by about 7pm. So anywhere that would get us back by then, after some time fishing. I appreciate everyones input. How has warm river been, I havent been up there in several years.
