[#008000]I like the Palomar knot with one exception. Passing the tippet through a small eye once is tough on these old eyes but twice is where I draw the line. So I came up with a modified version, whereas I pass the line through the eye once, then holding both the tag end and main line I form a loop and then give it another 180ยบ turn then pass the loop over the hook. This essentially creates a figure 8 knot. Found that it holds quite well. If no one else lays claim to this knot then I dub it the teo-loop knot.[/#008000]

Oh, do you mean like a figure eight follow through?

I guess you have not been nice.

Try going to Animated knots by Grog. select the climbing knots radio button. then look for the "Figure Eight Follow Through Knot"

I believe you already have the animated knots by grog saved in your favorites.

Open Internet Explorer.
Select Tools from the menu.
click on "Internet Option"
Under the "General Tab"
Click the "Delete" button under the Browser history section.
Then delete Temporary files.
If that does not fix it then go back and delete the cookies.

That will probably make you good with the computer gods again.

[#008000]I really didn't think those deletions would make a difference but decided to give it a try anyway. Yup - still getting red Xs.[/#008000]

I thought those things would do the trick. It used to for me but I have not had it happen in over a year. Wonder why that it. I used to have to do that about once a month or so.

I am clueless then.
