Got on e-bay...AGAIN! I am in the process of building a bamboo rod so the old man was looking for a classic reel for me.
Look what we scored.
SOUTH BEND
Now two problems....one, I already bought GREEN SILK for the wraps on my bamboo and two, it is right hand retrieve.

Nope, not according to the experts, but it will be okay, cause this will be on a bamboo, which will be for rivers and I realized today while on the Provo, I strip the line and hardly ever use the reel. The drag is awesome.
I just got to put the Green Silk aside for another project and order some Burgundy or Blood red....no biggie, I bet there is a few more things besides thread I could use.[bob ]
