In case you are interested in the current Gizzard Shad population a survey done on July 8 showed a healthy population.

This can of course put an effect on how the Wiper feed.

I sure those cats would grow bigger!

That is an interesting video, for the looks of it, those wipers they stocked last year are now 6 inches or so, by next year they will be 12 inches or more. I never realized they had a problem the shad over populating but I know a lot of people are always concerned about them dyeing off. I noticed there were a couple of other willard bay videos on there, one by our own MGB.

That was cool. Did anyone catch how big the area was that they netted to catch that many wipers and shad? I was really surprised how many of both specie were in there. Right on.
