Jordanelle/Deer creek report 07/12
#1
We launched the boat at the Nelle at 7:45 and trolled for about two hours. The fishing was slow, only caught 5 so we decided to try our luck at DC. We caught 5 at DC before we called it a day. We ended up with 4 species including; 3 rainbows, 1 brown, 3 SMB, and 3 walleye's. Not great numbers, but a fun day. The walleye bite is on at DC caught all three in about a hour and I don't even fish for eyes. Dumb luck I guess.[sly] The DC4.jpg pic below is the largest SMB my brother's caught yet. [Wink]

the water was 73 degrees and all eyes were caught on rattle L traps, and rapalas right on the bottom in the north state park, south of the island. haha we trolled around the water skiers, and jet skiers the whole time.
