[#ff0000]The koke fishing has turned on again downlake.[/#ff0000] It was tough there for a couple of weeks but we did really good Friday through Sunday. Fish are in there usually haunts around Jarvies, but holding much deeper 40-65ft.

The hot lure had a twist each day, but you can't go wrong with RMT Signature dodgers in either Hyper plaid or Pink/green followed by a hot pink squid or watermelon Serpent spoon. I also played around with some scents and tipped the rigs with some bait which may have helped increase the catch rates. Water temps have creaped into the upper 60's and we did best trolling around 2.2mph and running lures from 40-55ft.
Along with the increase in kokanee fishing activity we also are seeing some bigger fish. Each day we caught fish pushing 20 inches and over 2lbs. The kokes don't seem to put on the weight that they do uplake, but the Canyon fish are still awesome and you can't beat the scenery.

Smallmouth fishing is still good but they have also gone deeper. We added some white fillets to the kokanee catch by tossing Rattle traps (silver, green), Rebel PopRs (silver), Husky Jerks (baby bass), and 3-inch grubs (earth tones) rigged on a 3/8 oz. jighead. Topwater PopRs offered the most fun, but the bigger fish (2lbs) came on the crankbaits. Good times and hope it helps, Ryno
