day and decent cut at strawberry 7/18/08
#1
went up to strawberry/soldier creek side today got on the water as the moon was setting, immediately starting picking up fish, couldn;t keep all four rods in the water for the half hour when the moon set untill the sun peaked over the mountain, hooked up with a good fish that i thought was a good kokanee because it stayed down and tugged all the way to the boat , ended up being a 26inch fat cut, no girth measure or weight (scale was MIA) but this was a fat pig compared to all the skinny cuts i am used to catching, released it and it swam away like a champ. Fishing slowed drastically when the sun came up. boated 15 or so cuts 5 bows and lost a couple acrobatic kokes behind the boat. fished till 1:00
