fish with utwalleye and my boy sat and sunday. didnt get to do the burbot. storms in the evening both nights. trolled up some nice fish sat but today we strugled. 3 in 4 hrs. was going past 1 lone boat and saw him jigging he threw back a nice fish. i trolled over towards him. he dropped and hooked up first lift. it was a koke jumping like mad. we didnt bring anything to jig with besides laker gear. he gave us 3 spoons and we were set. limmited up in about 30. big fish to. they were staked from the bottom to 25 so thick the graff would black out almost. ashley was killing them both days . jared was killing them both days. worst part broke a brand new lammiglass rod.[fishin]

most likely your graph appeared blacked out because you wre close to a cliff and the waves from the transducer bounced off it sending false readings. I have never seen a koke any deeper than 70 feet.
Nevertheless, jigging was the ticket in that spot. Very generous guy to give you a few spoons and share the spot. Congradulations

What side of the lake were you fishing on, Utah or WY? Were the spoons custom or standard off the shelf stuff?
