I spent Saturday evening at Lost Creek Res and was super disappointed by all the chubs. I have fished Lost Creek for several years in a row now (since it re-opened) and I have never caught a chub out of there until Saturday. I caught a few small trout (one Cutt) but couldn't keep the chubs off the smaller lures and flies.
Has anyone else noticed this problem up there?
I fished around the dam.......from 5:00 - dark.

I fish Lost Creek quiet regularly and I started pulling out those nasty chub late last summer. It was very disappointing the lake was one of my favorite fishing holes I always caught my limit of nice size trout since then the only thing that i have caught has been chub I think that they need to put a slot limit or do something to get rid of the chub they are killing the lake!

Chubs have been in there for a very long time. Heck we used to go catch them for fun and feed them to the seagulls, and that was 15 years ago. I'm surprised they didn't overpopulate back then.
