Mantua Fun 8/11/08

Went there with the Sparkinator and my tube for dinner of fishies. Got there about 11 am. and quit about 4 pm. Conditions were pretty calm with a slight breeze every once in a while. Probably got up to about 90 deg. Caught 12 bassies (that's all I was fishing for) with one measuring 16 in., - pretty big for Mantua! Sorry, no pics, didn' want to be proven a lier. [shocked] All caught at the east point and N.E. bay. For my bass hugger friends, - YUM, YUM. All caught on my standard reaper, mostly weedless, small split shot up 12 in. just like always. Most fish about out 20 ft. along the edge of weeds. Not many folks there.

Nice job. Too bad you didn't get a pic of that 16" bass, I would have liked to seen it. There are some even bigger ones in there but few and far between.
