Another float tube question
#1
For now, I have decided against getting one of the Scadden inflatables.

I am trying to figure out which might be the best way to go in the interim.

I would like to have to ability to have a trolling motor on the tube. Here's my thinking: I would get a Float Power and either attach it to the

1. back of a Caddis Navigator Pro tube OR

2. to the side of a Creek Company ODC420 tube (V shaped)

Any comments?

Thanks,

FT

I attached it to my SFC for many years. Just be sure to have an open front tube. You will have to push both the Flote Power and the tube out in the water to clear the prop on the motor.
I originally had a donut, and trying to get into it, IN the water, WITH flippers is a trick. I couldn't put the flippers on IN THE WATER while in the tube, so climbing in was the choice.
With the fat cat, it was easy.
One thing I did do extra, was deflated both tubes and attached industrial VELCRO to the points of contact. The saved on the material rubbing together, plus also made for a tighter connection between the two.
Final note: You STILL have to license it.

Not a great picture, but you can see the flote power on the back of the SFC
