Kentucky Lane & Lake Barkley
#1
Fall fishing on the big lakes is good. Fall crappie fishing is excellant on jigs in 6' tp 10' of waters. Some good crappie are still being caught on minnows in 10' to 12' of water. Smallmouth fishing is good on Kentucky Lake on jigs and small spinnerbaits. Catfishing is slow in both lakes. Whitebass are slow but some are being caught in the back of the bays chasing shad. Largemouth are good in both lakes on top water and jerk baits around stumps and brush. White and shad colored baits are producing best. Lake Barkley is producing slightly better. Bluegill are very good on nightcrawlers and crickets under the docks. These fall patterns will continue for several more weeks.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
