i might have spelled his last name wrong, how ever he is a writer for field and stream. he writes the satirical articles at the end of almost every issue. he came out with a book a while ago titled "If you dident Bring Jerky, What Did I Just Eat?" this has got to be one of the best outdoor themed books i have read in 10 years, easily hands down. i striongly suggest going to barnes and noble, forking down the 20 bucks to buy the hard back and read it. i have just finished reading it for the 5th time, and it never gets old!

I read Field and Stream every month and Bill Heavy has some good articles. I haven't read his book though, sounds like it might be worth checking out. Thanks for the info.
