Moving back to Colorado....
#1
Good morning all,

Just thought I would take a few to thank everyone on here that I have met, helped, or been helped by over the last 2 years. It was a huge, fun, and rememorable adventure that I will never forget. I am sure the catfish at Utah Lake won't miss me[sly].

My job has called on me to go back to Colorado Springs[:/], and that is where my butt sits as I speak.
I may or maynot ever be back to Utah, but I will remain on this site and continue to spread the word of all the friendly fisherman we have on here, and what advice they/we can give to help them be a better fisherman[Image: bobwink.gif].

Again, [cool]thanks to all that have assisted me, and to those that I have helped, GOOD LUCK!!

Chris, sorry to see you go. We came close to getting out fishing together -- wish that it would have happened. Good luck in the future and keep in touch.

Chris,
Your the man when it comes to catfish. THANKS for your help.
Took the kids out to your spot last week and we put 14 in the boat, both kids caught their largest fish to date:
(Attempt at posting pictures or links were deleted because they were not working. Kent)
Lost 2 bigger ones when they made it to the weeds.
Good luck in Colorado

Colorado huy, I grew up in the southern part of that state back in the 60's and early 70's. Is there good catfishing in the C. Springs area? Good luck to you there, I'm sure the Colo. BFT board will be glad you are there. WH2

If catfish is your thing then I cant really help you out as far as Colorado. Will have to ask my Dad and get back to you. Kochanut and I lived there (Pueblo) throughout our High School Years before we joined the Military and it is just an exceptional State to fish and I hear the hunting isnt that bad either[Wink]!!! Take advantage of all the opportunities that it presents you especially fighting a nice Wiper at Pueblo Reservoir. The average fish there is bigger than the State Record here in Utah!!! Good Luck and look forward to some of your future posts' on the Colorado Board.......heck share them on here too!!!

Welcome back to Colorado, Catfishgitter-

Right now the hot tickets are pike (11 mile), bass and wipers (Pueblo), and the fall feeding frenzy of big trout, including big browns to be making their way up the Dream Stream.

The plains lakes in SE Colorado have some big cats. Pueblo does, too, and they are not targeted much. Go get 'em!

If ya want a true "honey hole" in Co. let me know. Problem is it's for slimers. [:/] It involves some work, hiking etc., but it's one of my allllllll time favorites. Problem is - I'm getting old and they don't allow dogs down there.[mad] P.S. I was born and raise in Denver! That was getting close to a century now. [shocked]
