I tried fishing Ririe Res. a couple weeks ago and saw a tone of koke's spawning in the boat ramps but they didn't want much. Wondering if anyone has had much luck lately on either the bass or the trout out there? If so I'd be interested in what they seem to be hitting.

I haven't fished it in about a month but we did well for bass drop shotting with twister tails. The best color seemed to be pumkin seed or watermelon with chartruse tails.
Here are a couple of pics of the fish.

My brother has fished Ririe a day each of the last two weeks and said the place has been off the hook. Two weeks ago it was the kokes that they were slaying while trolling, and last week it was the trout. I did not get details on what they were trolling. He also said the perch action was hot and heavy too. Now is a great time to fish Ririe. We always do good this time of year up there.

Fiday we boated 19 9-10" kokanee using two diffrent set ups downriggers at 25-30 feet and also 60 feet of lead core trailed out on top. Just using the standard kokanee affair. Some kind of flasher with a wedding ring trailing 3-4 feet behind tipped with corn. Caught most on the leadcore so fish are distributed throughout water column. They seem to be schooling up a little. We caught most fish over a hill top that protruded down into the water. There are kokanee jumping at the surface as well. The spawners or reds hanging around are not usually to interested in biting.
