Nice report and nice fish. Don't worry about the boys outdoing Dad. It just goes to show that you were a good teacher and they are good students.[cool]

I don't know if I'm a good teacher,
but you are right, they are great
students. They are my best buddies.
Take care.

Awesome pics! I wish we had those species(except tilapia) close. There is a lake on the Nevada border that has small tilapia in it.[cool]

Hey Roxanne
I released them all. I find nothing wrong with eating any fish, I just mostly fish for the sport of it.
Well, even though these fish are exotics, these particular species have been a breeding population here for many years. They are found in just about every lake, so I felt no need to kill them if I wasn't going to eat them. If I wouldv'e caught a species such as a Snakehead or Walking catfish which are rare here and don't have a high breeding population I might harvest those since they are very destructive.
Take care.

The preservation of fishing requires us to return various species to the ecology. This ensures that there will be something to fish for "Tomorrow".

I am glad you are concerned about the realeas. Not many people feel this way.[cool]
