Surprise catch today bass fishing!!!Not a fish

While fishing with my boys, we
spotted this reptilian monster.
My boys dared me to capture it,
I cut a piece of rope into a lasso
with my knife and wrangled the critter.
It dashed very fast into a dark crevice
in heavy cover and I went in after it.
After getting whipped in the neck and
almost had my fingers bitten off I captured
this lizard from the Amazon. They are vegetarians
but have sharp teeth and long claws with
a strong tail. They also have the attitude
of an alligator LOL After the pictures i released
this beast. My kids were ecstatic, from
ear to ear.

That is quite a catch. Nice job on the release too. There are many weird creatures out there besides fish to catch.

Hey Tube

Yes sir, many cool critters can be found
in and around water. I almost caught a gator
one day while catfishing. Also been days
where I'll catch more water turltes than fish.
It's all good, an adventure is what I'm after.
