]how's the fishing these days. I have'nt got out but one time this summer with the high gas prices and all the home projects that I have been putting off for a while.
I was wondering if anyone has been to pelican lake lately and how the fishing is. I know it is getting late in the year for some bass and bluegill fishin out of the boat. My dad and I went last year in sept. and the fishing was hot. Hoping to get down there before it gets hard. Can anyone tell me how full the water is and if I can get a small 14' aluminum boat in with out to many problems and if you think the bass will still be biting good now that its cooling off. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. thanks trfishin
