BIG FISH IN IDAHO

Everyone keeps saying that Idaho is the place to go for the BIGGUN's. Well being born and raised Idaho, I would have to agree.

Some of us aren't very quick but I survive with the help of my friends and good beer. Speaking of that- Had a Salmonfly honey wheat rye that was pretty good up there Friday night.
I didn't catch a fish on the midnight fire- don't know what it was. I ran a two rig set up. The second day I just ran one fly. The wind was so bad that I was having hang ups with the 2 fly set up. And casting- counting down and then 2 short strips and then a long slow was certainly producing very well. Might try and get back up 1 more time. I'm a camper but those guys in the small tents didn't look real warm to me. Cheap hotel with a 1/2 decent shower sure felt good.

I hear ya. We do have a trailer, but our trailer is not a pop up (although we just scored one of those too) but ours is a small full enclosed trailer with the beds that drop out from the front and rear. The heater works pretty good in there but Pokys full enclosed trailer was toastie.
Step out in the morning with the puppy and DANG! Rude awakening! COLD!
It was pretty windy for us also on Saturday and most of Sunday (till we left)
