Where to go for White bass at Utah Lake?
#1
Oh Wisemen of Utah fishing, please hear my request.

My son (me too) wants to catch white bass again at Utah Lake. We haven't been out for a while. Prefer east side (closer) and have a small boat we can use.

Any suggestions for location and lures this time of year?

Thanks

I would go to the bubble-up. Fish along the pipe, they'll be there somewhere. The last few times I was out there they were near the third or fourth buoy from the outside. Try a spinner (silver #2 mepps), a bright colored crankbait, roadrunner tipped with something, or a jig or tube. I usually throw out a jig tipped with something about 3ft under a bobber right next to the pipe and cast with something else. I like orange or chartreuse colors for the jigs or tubes. Don't forget to try right at the ramp in Lindon marina and also the channel on the way out. Good luck.

We had good luck for them at the Lindon boat harbor. Using nothing but white bass for bait.
