I am making the way up to my parents in Layton for the four day weekend and wanted to try to get a little fishing in. Is there anywhere near there that is not quite frozen over (if anywhere is frozen) and can catch some fish? Spent time at Mantua over the summer and figure thats an option. Anyone have other thoughts? Just want to catch something and enjoy myself. Thanks.

The state is still basically ice free so if your talking this coming weekend I'd suggest you take the long rods.
