Fishing decoys ?? WHAT ?????????????

Ok, I have been fishing every since I could hold a rod & reel.. But I have never heard of fishing decoys.. Yes, I said fishing decoys.[crazy]I was on e-bay looking for ice fishing gear and came across these decoys.. First one I seen was a spear fishing one.. OK I might come to believe in this one.. But Ice fishing decoys.. If I hadn't seen so many of these on e-bay. I would have said some one is yanking my chain.. One is even a duck ice fishing decoy.. WHAT ??[crazy] I have attached a few pic.. for your entertainment.. So help me out here.. Have you ever heard,used,seen fishing decoys ???

Watched them used in South Dakota for both bait and spear fishing for northern pike. The spear fishing was strange to me. They fished in a shack almost totally dark so they could watch down the hole & when they would get a fish just right under the hole they would drop (not throw) the spear. The one guy I watched could hit them almost every time. He used a three pronged spear that had big barbs and the points were needle sharp.
