Rockin' the RAC

I had a chance to attend the northern RAC yesterday evening...that was interesting. There are some big changes that the state was proposing with both deer and elk hunting in Utah...some good, some bad IMHO. I usually stick with bow hunting, and one of the proposals was to make archers pick a region to hunt the first 2 weeks of the hunt so that those in the southern region don't feel picked on. Lots of bowhunters showed up, and I think that proposal will be shot down. Hopefully the board final board will follow the same line, and say no to the proposed archery change. Lots of other good topics discussed as well. It was a very worthwhile effort, but was still going on at 10 PM when I went home.

I really wanted to go but everybody that said they were going with me bailed out at the last minute. I didn't really want to be a loner at the meeting.
What did they say about the CWMU program, and the point system???
