Windy Berry Day 11/21/08

Went to Strawberry today, we got on the lake about 7:30 and pretty quick action. We landed 9 fish when the wind started blowing, we only managed 2 more after that. The wind put an end to everything. The fish stopped bitting and the 2 we did hook hit so light you could barely tell. All in all a good day but could have been better. It was sunny and warm (minus the wind), the road to Renegade is open and clear all the way. There is no snow anywhere yet.

We so some other BFT members fishing near us, with the same results the did pretty well and then left once the wind started.

Hit the berry as well today....same results. 10 fish for 3 of us....it was pretty slow. Found jigging on the very bottom to be effective - had a lot of followers to the boat when throwing cranks. All in the slot - except a small bow.

Thank you very much for this piece of info. I live in Spanish Fork, so that is definitely my preferred route to Strawberry. See any deer?
