As of Friday we have about 100 registered contestants. Last year we had about 225, however the Fish and Game has asked that we limit this years tournament to 150.

I signed up for the derby a while ago but never got a confirmation. Do we get one or just show up on the day of the derby? Thanks, Jake.

Any word on the presumed purse?

With only 150 fishermen doesn't that change the purse?

With the decreased number of contestants, we changed the $100 prizes from every half hour to every hour, with less people odds of winning are still good, we also will be paying the four longest fish caught, should be close to $1700 dollars for first place. Not bad for a day of fishing.
