Anyone been on Magic

I was wondering what the ice is like on Magic I don't want to drive 3 hours this weekend for nothing anyone been out lately?

There's good ice at magic and there catching perch and trout in 5-12 ft water.

Thanks for the info guys looks like a weekend trip to magic is in order. I will let ya all know how I fared when I return.

I was there last Friday (2nd). Fishing was so-so in about 12-15 ft of water. There were a lot of people fishing in more shallow water, but I didn't talk to them, so I don't know how well they were doing. We did get one decent trout.

The ice is good, but veeery slushy on top. Wear good boots.....

Heading back again tomorrow.
