This is a short report, as the fishing was poor. We did not hook a fish, nor see another fisherman bring in a fish. We drilled many, many holes and used a flasher and fish-finder, but it didn't help. All we could mark were tiny baitfish. We fished from the boat ramp to the dam. Only a month ago, that area was jam packed with big fish.....not anymore. Maybe later in the year that area will be better. Has anybody had luck in other parts of the lake (shallow area southwest of the boat ramp, or the southern end? I almost forgot to mention that the ice was 8 inches thick at the boat ramp, and vehicles had been out on it.
