got to chicken creek late around 0830, tooled around pretty much all day. very slow, a few bites and fish seen through the holes. pretty much all we talked to said the area was slow. the ice was near 12" thick, many snowmobiles and four wheelers around. sounds like it may have been better further south by the marina. tube jigs with meal worm tipper got all our strikes.
