I went to crawdad cove after work yesterday I had one bite on my pole with a sardine on and it got yanked in the water while I was throwing a swim bait with my other pole .It was rocky so I couldnt use a pole holder I had a big rock on the handle while it leaned on my small cooler .[pirate]

Ouch! That's never fun... Well, at least you have an excuse to go buy a new setup!

Sorry to hear that, I don’t think there is anyone here that has not happened to at least once. F*%&$*ing carp I bet ya. But hey, the master fishing catalogs for Bass Pro and Cabelas both showed up in the last week. Some nice gear for sale and good prices. Last summer I picked up the fancy pants Quantum Energy PTI spinning reel on sale. I can recommend that as a good place to start for a spinning reel.

Bummer! I feel your pain! [crazy][shocked][:/][:p][frown]
Thanks for reminding me to always use a pole holder.
