Got there about noon and was lucky to find a parking place across from the caretaker house. For a week day it was really crowded. I am still nursing a cold, so only fished for a few hours. My excuse for only getting one bite and whiffing on this first ice fishing trip of the season.
Ice was in pretty good condition with people fishing all the way across the narrows. Many others were catching fish. Just had to be in the right place.
Recommend going early to get a parking place, and a place to fish!
