Bear Lake conditions/marina/report
#1
Got up here around 11 a.m. and stopped off at the marina to check out the ramp in case I conjured up enough energy to launch the boat. Well there were two boat/trailers in the parking area (empty) and the ramp and marina were in great shape.

I ran up to the cabin to plow out the driveway and do a few chores. The wind started picking up pretty hard so when I was finished I decided to just bank fish. There were some serious white caps and massive waves out there (smart decision on my part to not launch) and the two boats that were out had a tough time coming back in. I watched them closely and all was OK for them but I am sure pretty scary to say the least.

As for fishing [:/], too choppy and way muddy water! Maybe tommorow?

Thanks for the report Pat. Looks like cisco fishing this year will be in waders.

Or jigging them up off the Pile from a boat. They've lifted the hook size restriction, haven't they? I believe they did...

Thanks for the marina conditions update, Pat!

I plan to run over to the East side in the morning for some shore fishing and see if they may be early this year.

Only thing I have found is about attaching weight to the shank of the hook.
