We hit glendale at about 10 and left at about 3. We iced between 35 and 40 rainbows in the 12 to 16 inch range. small fish but fast action. It didnt seem to matter what you had on these fish are hungry. Also the depth didnt seem to matter a whole lot, I caught fish from 10 to 35 feet.Going back to look for crappie next time.

Did Glendale fill up (water level) before it froze over? Or is it still really low?

Thanks for the report. Sounds like a great place to get kids out with the fish biting fast like that.

The level is still down pretty low but it is filling slowly which makes for some slushy edges

Did they stock Glendale before it froze over? Just wondering, because I fished it (from my boat) 11 times this past year and only caught one Rainbow and so did a buddy!!!

To be totally honest with ya, I've fished Glendale faithfully this season and I am ready to find perch and crappie elsewhere. I got a few early on, since then I cannot buy anything but a 12 inch bow or the occasional bass. From daylight (and I mean daylight) till about 8:30 the fishing is pretty hot after that it get's very slow and about noon till 5 it is absolutely dead. You might pick up a few planters at dusk. If anyone has any decent reports around, let us know. I am having a tough time finding a perch this season. Johnson Res.?
