any good Sarasota fishing spots?

I just started fishing in sarasota and i was just wonder where a good fishing spot in sarasota is? keep in mind i dont have a boat. [frown]

I like freshwater fishing and salt water, i have been fishing recently at the casey key north jetty but havent been having much luck recently and anything i do ketch is super small.

Does anyone recommend twin lakes park? I went there today and nothing someone told me the county came by and netted all of the fish out so that they could get a different fish to populate there or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx.

I know either side of the skyway bridge is good.
